Apasionados por el rugby, deseosos de mantener viva la Rugby Brewing Co http://posavasosderugby.blogspot.com/2011/11/rugby-brewing-company.html , Kevin Featherstone, Phil Dewes y Sue Dewes fundaron la la Wood Farm Brewery Co Ltd. http://www.woodfarmbrewery.co.uk/ en el 2010. Su Centro de visitantes fué inaugurado por Dean Richards http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_Richards_(rugby_union) (jugador del Leicester Tigers, seleccionado 48 veces por Inglaterra y 6 veces por los Irish & British Lions) el 11 de marzo del 2011, va a hacer un año.

Las imágenes que veis no son de posavasos, me encantaría que los hicieran, pero ilustran perfectamente la ligazón de la Wood Farm Brewery con el Rugby.

Six Nations Triple Crown to Wales. / La Triple Corona para Gales.

La Triple Corona, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Nations_Championship#Triple_Crown_Trophy , trofeo que consigue el que derrota los otros tres equipos anglosajones del Seis Naciones, la disputan Inglaterra, Irlanda, Escocia y Gales. Hasta el 2006 el trofeo era invisible pues no existía un trofeo físico que entregar al ganador. Ese año el principal patrocinador de la competición, el Royal Bank of Scotland, encargó un trofeo que se adjudiquen a los ganadores de la Triple Corona, un plato de plateado.

Este año ha ganado Gales en Twickenham por 19-12, y con ello consiguió su vigésima Triple Corona. Al tiempo ha conseguido acercarse al Grand Slam (victoria sobre los otros cinco rivales), que se jugará, previsiblemente, el 17 de marzo en Cardiff contra Francia, el otro equipo invicto. Como tributo a gales publico, junto a una foto del trofeo, imágenes del posavasos que Guinness www.guinness.com dedicó al equipo de Gales. that gets the team that defeat the other three Anglo-Saxons teams in the Six Nations Championship, (Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales). Until 2006 the trophy was invisible because there was not a material trophy that deliver winning. In 2006 the main sponsor of the competition, the Royal Bank of Scotland, commissioned a trophy awarded to the winners of the Triple Crown, a silver dish.

This year Wales just won at Twickenham 19-12, and got his 20th Triple Crown. At the time it has managed to get closer to the Grand Slam (victory over the other five rivals), which will be played, predictably, on March 17 in Cardiff against France, the other unbeaten team.

Buscando en la red he descubierto una edición distinta del posavasos de la Bechigue sobre el que escribí el pasado 8 de marzo del 2011 http://posavasosderugby.blogspot.com/2011/03/bechigue-its-born-from-rugby-and-for.html   La cerveza Bechigue http://www.bechigue.com/accueil.html es una cerveza con una historia preciosa:  Toma su nombre de una palabra regional, utilizada en la parte suroeste de Francia. No aparece en el diccionario, pero así se llama el balón de rugby en los entornos de Biarritz/Bayonne, Pau y Toulouse. 
Es una cerveza rubia de baja fermentación, con el 5,6% de alcohol. Hecha con cebada belga, lúpulo y malta alsaciana. Una cerveza perfecta para el tercer tiempo.

Searching on internet I discovered another beermat, different than the coasters of the Bechigue about I wrote on March 8, 2011  http://posavasosderugby.blogspot.com/2011/03/bechigue-its-born-from-rugby-and-for.html  Bechigue  http://www.bechigue.com/accueil.html  is a beer with a fine history: takes its name from a regional word used in the southwestern part of France. The word doesn´t appear in the dictionary, but is the name of the rugby ball in the environments of BiarritzBayonne, Pau and Toulouse.

It is a blond beer of low fermentation, with 5.6 % alcohol. Made with Belgian barley, hops and Alsatian malta. A perfect beer for the third half.
